Trading fees and withdrawal fees on OKX are two different things
Many OKX users in Italy compare only trading fees and forget the cost of moving coins out. Where to read each one for your account and how to add them up for a realistic picture.

When people talk about fees on an exchange, they usually mean the maker and taker rates on trades. On OKX those are only part of the cost. Moving coins out to a wallet or another platform has its own fee, which depends on the coin and the network, and changes over time. For someone who trades rarely but withdraws often, the withdrawal fee can be the larger number. Knowing where both live on OKX helps you plan transfers sensibly.
Read your trading fees on the fee page
Sign in to OKX and open the fee rates page from your profile. It shows the maker and taker rates for your tier on spot and on derivatives. Note them with the date. These rates apply each time you trade, as a percentage of the trade value. A limit order resting on the book is normally charged the maker rate, and a market order the taker rate. Check one recent trade in order history to see the fee in practice.
Read withdrawal fees on the withdrawal screen
Open Withdraw, pick a coin and select a network. The screen shows the fee for that coin on that network and the minimum amount you can send. Switch between networks and you will see different fees. OKX also publishes a list of withdrawal fees, but the withdrawal screen reflects the current value for your account at that moment. Note the networks your usual destinations support and their fees.
Add them up for a real transfer
Picture a typical month: how many trades you place, roughly how large, and how many withdrawals you make. Multiply the trades by your fee rate and add the withdrawal fees for the networks you use. The result is a realistic cost, not a headline number. If withdrawals dominate, combining several small withdrawals into one larger one, or choosing a supported network with a lower fee, often saves more than chasing a better trading tier.
Recheck when something changes
Fees are not fixed forever. Recheck your fee page when your trading volume changes, and the withdrawal screen before any large transfer. If a fee charged on a trade or a withdrawal does not match what the screen showed, save the order or withdrawal ID and contact OKX support in the app. Avoid relying on fee tables posted on forums or social media, which are often several months old.
